While Vernon put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Lenape Valley. The Vikings put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 12-0 victory. Considering the Vikings have won three games by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Vernon is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Lenape Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Vernon has already played their next matchup, a 15-2 victory against Kittatinny Regional on the 16th. As for Lenape Valley, they will square off against Pequannock at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
