Volleyball Recap: Hammond Bishop Noll Finds Playoff Glory Versus Highland

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hammond Bishop Noll had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Highland Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Hammond Bishop Noll was led to victory by Joselyn Calleros and Tessa Zubeck. Calleros had 15 digs and three aces, while Zubeck had 20 assists and ten digs. Zubeck has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last ten times she's played.

Hammond Bishop Noll's win bumped their record up to 22-13. As for Highland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-23 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Hammond Bishop Noll and Mishawaka Marian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Highland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
