Volleyball Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

Glendale entered their match against Burroughs on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Glendale Nitros lost 3-0 to the Burroughs Bears. The game marked the first time this season in which the Nitros were not able to get on the board.

While Glendale had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-20.

Having lost for the first time this season, Glendale fell to 4-1. As for Burroughs, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Coming up, Glendale will welcome Maranatha at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Burroughs, they will take on Pasadena at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
