Basketball Recap: Monroe Catholic Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Monroe Catholic won the last time they faced Juneau-Douglas and things went their way on Saturday too. The Monroe Catholic Rams enjoyed a cozy 71-55 win over the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Monroe Catholic pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Juneau-Douglas, they, and North Pole. As for Juneau-Douglas, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Monroe Catholic will face off against Delta at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Delta has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games. As for Juneau-Douglas, they will welcome North Pole at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
