Peck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 44-23 to the Kingston Cardinals. Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Thomas West, who posted eight points in addition to 12 boards and three blocks. West has been hot, having posted two or more blocks the last five times he's played. Cal Heiden was another key player, putting up seven points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Austin DeRoseau was his usual excellent self, going 8 of 13 on his way to 21 points for Kingston. Another player making a difference was Nick Cummings, who had seven points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Peck's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Kingston, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
