Logan Dent Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Salem got the W thanks in part to Logan Dent playing the best football he has all season. Dent rushed for 231 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made a tackle.
Dent might have his next game, a road matchup with West Washington, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Dent saw the Senators), he rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.

Adam Mull Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Salem was led to victory by Adam Mull, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Mull rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.
For the season, Mull has averaged 67.8 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 25 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 57.5 rushing yards.

On Friday, Charlestown had to settle for second even though Ryan Shields put up the best numbers he has all season. Shields rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards.
Charlestown is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. Shields and Charlestown will take on Eastern on Friday.
