Basketball Game Preview: Brazos Christian Eagles vs. New Waverly Bulldogs

The Brazos Christian Eagles and the New Waverly Bulldogs will round out the year against one another at at 8:30 a.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Brazos Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Prince of Peace on Saturday. Brazos Christian blew past Prince of Peace 55-33.

Meanwhile, New Waverly had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They claimed a resounding 65-30 win over the Bobcats. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-10.

New Waverly is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Brazos Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.
