Soccer Game Preview: Legacy Charter vs. The First Academy + How To Watch

Legacy Charter hasn't had much luck against The First Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Royals at 7:00 p.m. Legacy Charter has given up an average of 4.4 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Legacy Charter came up short against First Academy, falling 8-1.

Legacy Charter's goal came courtesy of Syier Delesline, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, The First Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Geneva on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Knights. Considering The First Academy's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The First Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-4-2. As for Legacy Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1.

Everything went Legacy Charter's way against The First Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2021, as Legacy Charter made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
