Volleyball Game Preview: Lyman Raiders vs. Chamberlain Cubs

The Lyman Raiders will head out to take on the Chamberlain Cubs at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lyman took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Belle Fourche. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Broncs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Lyman was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 20-25, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Chamberlain got the win against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Lyman's record now sits at 17-11. As for Chamberlain, their record is now 5-16.

Lyman came out on top in a nail-biter against Chamberlain in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
