Volleyball Recap: Yuma Catholic Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Yuma Catholic came tearing into Monday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Tonopah Valley Phoenix as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on October 1st.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-13.

Yuma Catholic can attribute much of their success to Lainee Clarke, who had five digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Clarke a new career-high.

Yuma Catholic's win bumped their record up to 30-3. As for Tonopah Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
