Softball Recap: Soda Springs Wins Going Away Against West Side

Soda Springs won the last time they faced West Side and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 16-9 margin over the Pirates. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won four matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Aspen Davis, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiyana Davis, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Soda Springs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .610. They are 5-2 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Soda Springs now has a winning record of 6-5. As for West Side, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
