Althoff Catholic has gone a perfect 5-0 against Wesclin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Crusaders will welcome the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Althoff Catholic will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Althoff Catholic beat Christ Our Rock Lutheran 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Althoff Catholic took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-15.

Althoff Catholic's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Katelyn Karban, who had 15 digs and two aces, and Ella Riley, who had nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces Riley has posted over her last eight matchups. Zoey Masengale also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Meanwhile, Wesclin earned a 2-0 victory over Sparta on Thursday.

Wesclin didn't let Sparta take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 27-25.

Wesclin's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Althoff Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 15-9.

Althoff Catholic was able to grind out a solid win over Wesclin in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
