Dawson County is 6-0-1 against Pickens since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tigers will face off against the Dragons at 5:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Dawson County lost 5-1 to Greater Atlanta Christian last Thursday. Dawson County haven't had much luck with Greater Atlanta Christian recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Pickens entered their tilt with North Hall on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Trojans a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Pickens were the better team in the second half.

Pickens' victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Dawson County, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Dawson County was able to grind out a solid win over Pickens in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
