Baseball Game Preview: West Marion Trojans vs. Seminary Bulldogs

For the second straight game, West Marion will face off against Seminary. The Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Marion will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

West Marion is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Seminary a 1-0 shutout.

West Marion's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Rylee Gay, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

West Marion pushed their record up to 16-16 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Seminary, their defeat dropped their record down to 29-8-2.
