Basketball Recap: St. Peter Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marshall, St. Peter was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 69-60 victory over the Kasson-Mantorville Komets. That's more bragging rights for the Saints, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Peter's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Kasson-Mantorville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

St. Peter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 80-29 victory against Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] on the 10th. As for Kasson-Mantorville, they will square off against Lake City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake City will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Kasson-Mantorville surely won't give up without a fight.
