It was fun while it lasted, but Northern's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Saturday. They took a 48-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the DuVal Tigers. The game marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Northern fell to 4-1. As for DuVal, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Northern will be taking part in a tournament against Parkdale at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for DuVal, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bladensburg at 7:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
