Okeechobee lost to St. Edward two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Brahmans walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Pirates. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Brahmans.

Okeechobee got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 29-31, 26-24.

Among those leading the charge was Tehya Nunez, who had ten digs and one assist. Yani Smith also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Okeechobee was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Edward's only served eight aces.

Okeechobee's record is now 4-5. As for St. Edward's, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Okeechobee has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Sebring on the 9th. As for St. Edward's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Centennial on the 10th.
