Soccer Recap: Elkhorn South Comes Up Short

Elkhorn South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lincoln East Spartans. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Elkhorn South couldn't quite close it out.

Elkhorn South's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Lincoln East, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
