Volleyball Recap: Zachary Takes a Loss

Zachary came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the University Lab Cubs, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Broncos in their meetings with the Cubs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-7, 25-16.

Zachary's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for University Lab, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Zachary will head out to face off against St. John at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University Lab, they will challenge Hammond at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
