Basketball Recap: South Terrebonne Continues Road Dominance on Monday

On Monday, the South Terrebonne Gators beat the Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls 67-57. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gators.

Several Swamp Owls players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dimitris Galiatsos, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. That's the most points Galiatsos has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Antonio Castro, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards.

South Terrebonne pushed their record up to 12-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
