Basketball Recap: Nine Straight Road Wins for Old Colony RVT

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Old Colony RVT had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Notre Dame Cristo Rey Panthers by a score of 67-59. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Notre Dame Cristo Rey lost, don't look at S Garcia. Despite the final result, he posted 23 points. Garcia's big performance that evening made it 14 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was D Osuna, who earned 14 points.

Old Colony RVT's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-2. As for Notre Dame Cristo Rey, their loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-2.
