Softball Recap: Deer Park Takes a Loss

Deer Park lost against Indian Hill on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats fell 11-7 to the Braves. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jaelynn Richmond made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Evie Wilson, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Deer Park's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Indian Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Deer Park has already played their next game (against Lockland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Indian Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Madeira at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
