Softball Recap: River Islands Comes Up Short

After flying high against Riverbank on Friday, River Islands came back down to earth. The Riptide came up short against the Delhi Hawks on Monday, falling 13-3. The game marked the Riptide's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

River Islands' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Delhi, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

While River Islands had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
