Baseball Recap: Meadowbrook Comes Up Short

Meadowbrook lost against Hopewell back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Monarchs came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 11-1. The Monarchs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meadowbrook saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tre Turner, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Meadowbrook's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Hopewell, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

While Meadowbrook had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
