First Flight waltzed into their match on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Hertford County Bears 9-0. First Flight's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

First Flight's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven games. As for Hertford County, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First Flight will venture away from home to face off against Holmes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. First Flight's defense better be ready for this one: Holmes have averaged an impressive 4.8 goals per game this season.
