Basketball Game Preview: Schroon Lake Wildcats vs. Northern Adirondack Bobcats

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Schroon Lake Wildcats face off against the Northern Adirondack Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday... Schroon Lake will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Schroon Lake is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Lake Placid: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Schroon Lake blew Lake Placid out of the water with a 69-41 final score. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-18.

Meanwhile, Northern Adirondack ended up a good deal behind Plattsburgh on Wednesday and lost 56-42. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now lost three in a row.

Schroon Lake has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.1 points per game. As for Northern Adirondack, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
