Soccer Game Preview: Lehman Catholic vs. Botkins

Lehman Catholic is 6-0-1 against Botkins since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cavaliers will face off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Lehman Catholic turned things around against Bethel on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Bees could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Lehman Catholic have been dealt a draw since back in August.

They hit Bethel with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emi Wray, Veronica Pannapara, and Erin Higgins.

Meanwhile, Botkins came up short against Legacy Christian Academy on Friday, falling 5-1. Botkins haven't had much luck with Legacy Christian Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Botkins' defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-2. With that draw, Lehman Catholic's record moves to 4-9-2.

Lehman Catholic beat Botkins by a goal in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 1-0. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
