Football Game Preview: Leonard Lancers vs. Royal Palm Beach Wildcats

The Leonard Lancers are taking a road trip to take on the Royal Palm Beach Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Leonard's offense has struggled lately (they haven't scored a point in three consecutive games), something the team is no doubt ready to change.

Leonard's offense might be in the hot seat on Tuesday considering what happened against Palm Beach Lakes on Thursday. The game between the Lancers and the Rams didn't end well, with the Lancers falling 14-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Royal Palm Beach). They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 31-0 win over Santaluces. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win got Royal Palm Beach back to even at 6-6. As for Leonard, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Leonard couldn't quite get it done against Royal Palm Beach in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 14-6. Can the Lancers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
