Basketball Recap: Kaedyn Cole Key Part of Team Effort in Crusaders Win + How To Watch

Grace Christian won the last time they faced Fayetteville Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 82-59 win. The Crusaders pushed the score to 66-38 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors cut but never quite recovered from.

Grace Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaedyn Cole led the charge by shooting 83% from the field on his way to 23 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The contest was Cole's third in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of DeNelly Coppedge, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards.

Grace Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ethan Durgadin, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 13 points. Nicholas Cooreman was another key player, putting up 15 points and six rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Grace Christian and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 86.0 points over those games. As for Fayetteville Christian, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
