Baseball Recap: Inglemoor Vikings vs. Issaquah Eagles

After flying high against Redmond last Wednesday, Inglemoor came back down to earth. The Inglemoor Vikings took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Issaquah Eagles on Friday. Inglemoor was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Issaquah apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played on April 5th.

Inglemoor got a good showing from Braedan Howe, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Howe has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, Inglemoor saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kobin Mullins, who went 1-for-3 with a stolen base.

On Issaquah's side, Isaac Hallam spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered one run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Issaquah let Mason Uchimura and Charlie Lydum loose on the outfield. Uchimura scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while Lydum scored two runs while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter DuBreuil, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with an RBI.
