Soccer Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Johnson Jaguars.

Madison now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Johnson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Madison will be playing in front of their home fans against Brandeis at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Johnson, they will venture away from home to take on LEE at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (LEE has won three straight at home, while Johnson won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
