Baseball Recap: Western Hills Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Western Hills won the last time they faced Henry County and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wolverines came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 11-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

Western Hills got a big performance out of Gavin Murphy, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Murphy has posted since back in April. Owen Woodson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Western Hills' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-10. As for Henry County, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-12.

Western Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Henry County, they will face off against South Oldham at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dragons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.79 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
