Softball Recap: Wayne Trace Comes Up Short

Wayne Trace was the 6-0 winner over Fairview when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders fell just short of the Apaches by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayne Trace's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Fairview, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wayne Trace is set to challenge their familiar foe Antwerp at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Fairview will take on rival Hicksville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
