The Oregon Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Mendota Trojans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Oregon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Oregon is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Byron on Thursday. The Hawks fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1.

Oregon's goal came courtesy of Shaylee Davis, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, Mendota unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They and Plano finished up their game with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Mendota's first draw of the season.

Mendota's draw gives them a new season record of 12-4-1. As for Oregon, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1.

Oregon took their win against Mendota in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
