It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Mountain View ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They blew past the North Stafford Wolverines 8-2. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Mountain View, bringing their record up to 12-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for North Stafford, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

As of now, neither Mountain View nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
