Softball Preview: Johnson Warriors vs. Valley Vikings
The Johnson Warriors will challenge the Valley Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Johnson has three straight wins, Valley has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Angelene Gonzales made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
