While Kentridge's win against Auburn wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chargers won by a set and slipped past the Trojans 3-2. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Kentridge wouldn't go down easily and took Auburn into a fifth set where they got it done with a -5-point win. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-20, 20-25, 20-25.

Genesis Miller paced Kentridge's offense, picking up 24 kills. Miller got some help from Tofi Luuga and her 27 assists. Makana (Mak) Lum-Lung controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Despite the loss, Auburn still got an impressive performance from Eliana Santos, who had 14 digs.

Kentridge's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Auburn, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Kentridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Stadium on the 25th. As for Auburn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Kennedy Catholic on the 25th.
