Volleyball Recap: Kidder County Co-Op [Steele/Tappen] Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Ellendale Cardinals by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 18-25, 15-8.

The win was the third in a row for Ellendale, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ellendale, they are taking a road trip to square off against Oakes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
