Anchor Bay dropped their record down to 18-9 on Saturday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Allen Park Jaguars by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Tars couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Allen Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games.

For Allen Park's part, Melody Filipiak spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Kiley Carr was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted over her last ten matches.

Looking ahead, Anchor Bay will square off against Utica Ford at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Allen Park, they will venture away from home to take on Lincoln Park at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
