Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cocalico). They blew past the Fleetwood Tigers 49-21 on Friday. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Eagles had established a 21-point advantage.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cocalico to victory, but perhaps none more so than Logan Horning, who rushed for 134 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries. Horning is becoming a predictor of the Eagles' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 3-1 (and 1-5 when he doesn't). Another back making a difference was James Anderson, who rushed for 60 yards and one score on only six carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Cocalico was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 335 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 175 rushing yards in four consecutive games.

Cocalico is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.0 points over those games. As for Fleetwood, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

As of now, neither Cocalico nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
