It was a good run, but White Deer unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to the McLean Tigers 61-56. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bucks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-37 back in January.

McLean's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Collin Alston, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 boards. Alston's evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Andrew Montoya was another key player, going 6 for 15 on his way to 18 points.

White Deer's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-11. As for McLean, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-5.

White Deer will welcome Hedley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. White Deer is facing Hedley at the right time seeing as Hedley is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for McLean, they will venture away from home to face off against Groom at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McLean is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61 points per game this season.
