West Branch waltzed into their match on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Elk County Catholic Crusaders. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bella Koleno paced West Branch's offense, picking up 18 kills. Koleno got some help from Kyla Kephart and her 38 assists. Brielle Bainey controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

West Branch's victory bumped their record up to 35-2-3. As for Elk County Catholic, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-5 record.

Coming up, West Branch will face off against Berlin Brothersvalley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Elk County Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
