Softball Recap: El Paso-Gridley Takes a Loss

El Paso-Gridley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Henry-Senachwine Mallards. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 7-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

El Paso-Gridley's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Henry-Senachwine, they pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Paso-Gridley will host Deer Creek-Mackinaw at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Henry-Senachwine, they will challenge Putnam County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mallards are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
