Basketball Game Preview: Fairfax Lions vs. West Potomac Wolverines

Fairfax and West Potomac are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2022, but not for long. The Fairfax Lions will welcome the West Potomac Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Monday, Fairfax came up short against Robinson and fell 64-51. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, West Potomac posted their biggest win since December 30, 2024 on Monday. They put the hurt on Alexandria City with a sharp 63-39 victory.

West Potomac has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points per game. As for Fairfax, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.
