Soccer Game Preview: Pasadena vs. Kingwood Park

The Pasadena Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Kingwood Park Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Pasadena is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Splendora 6-2 on Tuesday. The score was close at the half, but the Eagles pulled away in the second half with four goals.

Meanwhile, Kingwood Park waltzed into their match on Friday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They never let the Wildcats onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Panthers were the better team in the second half.

Kingwood Park's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those eight games. As for Pasadena, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Pasadena came up short against Kingwood Park in their previous meeting back in January, falling 3-1. Can Pasadena avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
