Softball Recap: Lewis & Clark Comes Up Short

Lewis & Clark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-3 to the Ridgeline Falcons. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 8-7 to the Falcons when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lewis & Clark saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Beibhinn Kilgore, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. Isabella Heister also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Lewis & Clark's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Ridgeline, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Lewis & Clark will challenge University at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridgeline, they will host Central Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Ridgeline surely won't give up without a fight.
