Owyhee put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Kuna Kavemen. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Storm also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Owyhee got a great performance from Kaleb Doty as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over 4.2 innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave Doty a new career-high.
At the plate, Gage Haws and Easton Price did most of the damage at the plate: Haws scored a run and stole two bases while going 4-for-4, while Price scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
