Basketball Recap: Uxbridge Piles Up the Points Against Blackstone-Millville

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Uxbridge). They blew past the Blackstone-Millville Chargers 54-27 on Saturday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Spartans with their most commanding win of the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Uxbridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Michael Stark, who posted 14 points. The dominant performance gave Stark a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was James Sanford, who had 14 points.

Despite the loss, Blackstone-Millville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jackson Dunton put up six points and six rebounds.

Uxbridge now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Blackstone-Millville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Uxbridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-52 defeat against Northbridge on the 30th. As for Blackstone-Millville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-57 loss against Blue Hills RVT on the 30th.
