Recap: Jordan Falcons vs. Orange Panthers
Even though the Orange Panthers scored an imposing 62 points on Thursday, the Jordan Falcons still came out on top. Jordan took their game against Orange 75-62. The score was all tied up 31-31 at the break, but Jordan was the better team in the second half.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Honeycutt, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 13 rebounds. The match was Honeycutt's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Xandrell Pennix was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
The win got Jordan back to even at 2-2. As for Orange, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
Jordan will be playing in front of their home fans against Panther Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Panther Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday. As for Orange, they will head out on the road to face off against Forsyth Country Day at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Forsyth Country Day has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 545 points over their last seven games.
