Softball Recap: Six Straight Road Victories for Shepherd

Shepherd put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Friday. They never let the Glasgow Scotties get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Fans of the Mustangs have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Shepherd pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 12.2 runs thus far. As for Glasgow, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Shepherd didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua on the 11th. As for Glasgow, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-7 win against Hardin on the 12th.
